"IT'S OUR AMAZON,
OUR INDIGENOUS PEOPLES"
for more info on the film.
We have created a new organization focused on the environment and human rights.
In the summer of 2019, news hit that the Amazon Rainforest was burning.
Reports claimed that the fires were worse than ever before and were, perhaps, even intentionally set. After researching the subject, we were confused by the convoluted information and conflicting messages presented by the media.
Overwhelmed by the onslaught of inconsistent reports, we decided to embark on a journey to Brazil to better understand the situation. Along the way we interviewed scientists, farmers, indigenous peoples, and others from all walks of life who shared their perspectives and stories of the fires.
This film is an accumulation of their voices, and an attempt to shine truth on the situation. It is a vision of hope, life and the struggle in a time where we are
all seeking answers.
We are currently in post-production and are seeking sponsors and donors to help us complete the film. We are planning the release for summer 2020.
